Twilight Chapters 1-6
Here is my blog post and I am Jacob.
It is difficult at first, but after a while, we figure it out!
You all have been creating FABULOUS poetry over the past two weeks. I can’t tell you how proud I am of each and every one of you! I am blown away by what you have created!
I just want a little bit of feedback on what we have been working on so far. So, please answer the following question by Friday, April 3rd!
What type of poetry have you enjoyed creating the most (i.e. found poetry, catylst poetry, poetry webquest, etc.)? Why did you like that type the most?
We have been working so hard to prepare for the CRT’s. I want to know how ready you feel you are!
So…please answer the following questions by Friday, March 13th!
1. What activity do you feel helped you the most in preparing for the CRT (ex. Study Island, practice tests, etc)?
2. How well do you think you will do (or did) on the Reading section of the test?
It is so important to understand what we are learning everyday. Respond to both of these questions in one comment:
How does debating help us better understand the relationship between cause and effect?
How do stories, poems, and songs create mood and tone?
Your comments are due by Monday, December 8th! Happy commenting!
Are you ready for the challenge??
Here is what you need to do once you are in the computer lab:
1. Using the following websites, research your EFFECT that you decided on yesterday.
2. Open a Word document, and start copying and pasting research you want to use to the document. Make sure to save the research in My Documents.
3. Next, find pictures that have to do with YOUR effect (if you are researching lung cancer, then you WILL NOT research appearance). You will need to print these pictures out, for a presentation.
4. When you are ready to print, click on the Office icon, click on print, select the 725 printer, and click OK.
Wednesday and Thursday:
Once you finish your research and locating pictures, here is what you do next:
1. Open up a new Word document, and start writing your essay.
2. You need to have at least three paragraphs (intro., body, and conclusion).
Period 1: One full page TYPED/ 2 full pages WRITTEN
Periods 3 and 5: 3/4 page TYPED/ 11/2 pages WRITTEN
Get started!
